The rules, with live numbers

Score is money.
Here is how it pays.

Baron is a live sky full of planes. The coin's creator fees fill one pool. Shoot planes down, take half of every player's score you shoot down, hold 10 seconds and the pot pays your score out in SOL. No wallet connect, no deposit: paste a Solana address and fly.

  1. The pot–paid out of right now
  2. Top cash-out now–at a score of –
  3. Whole pool–pot plus reserve
  4. Paid out–0 cash-outs
  5. Burned0BARON in 0 burns

The game

01
  1. The sky
Seen from the side: the trenches below, a ceiling above, limits left and right. Fly into the mud and you are out. Stay outside the limits for 2.5 seconds and you are out. Two planes that collide both go down.
  2. Fly
Your plane never stops. It turns toward the pointer as fast as it can; keep the pointer close to the plane and it throttles back and turns tighter. On a phone you drag to steer.
  3. Shoot
Click or hold Space to fire where your nose points. Every plane has twin Vickers guns; a few hits take a plane down. New planes blink for 3 seconds and cannot be hit until then, or until they fire.
  4. Crates
Supply crates float down on parachutes, land in the mud and sink after a while. Fly through one to take it: triple guns, homing rockets (hold a plane in front of your nose until the lock turns red), an elephant gun that goes through everything in its line, a flare gun, bombs, a ram that takes down whatever it meets, or a full repair. A special weapon lasts its shots, then the gun is back. With the laser on board nothing else fits.

Score

02
  1. A kill
10 points for every plane you shoot down, plus half the score of a player you shoot down: the bounty. The other half is gone. The highest score in the sky wears the crown: the biggest bounty there is.
  2. Crates, medals
3 points for a crate, 1 for each gold wing hanging in the sky.
  3. Out
Shot down, into the mud, outside the limits or in a collision: your score is gone. Only a score you cash out pays. A plane from your own network address pays you nothing when you shoot it down.

The money

03
  1. The pool
The coin's creator fees are booked trade by trade. 2% buys the coin and burns it; everything else goes into the pool. The pool is all there is to win, and all of it is for the players. Before the coin is live the game runs as a practice round on paper: the same numbers, nothing is sent.
  2. The pot
Cash-outs are paid from the pot. The rest of the pool waits in the reserve and flows into the pot at –% of itself per hour; the pot never holds more than –% of the pool. A rush of cash-outs can empty the pot, never the pool: each one is smaller until the pot has filled again.
  3. What a score is worth
A cash-out takes a share of the pot by your score at that moment. A score of – or more takes –% of the pot, the most one cash-out can take (– right now). Less takes less, falling faster than the score: one big run pays more than several small ones.
  4. Cashing out
Hold C for 10 seconds. Your guns go quiet, you cannot take crates, you fly at 70% speed and pour white smoke, and a beacon marks you on every radar. Let go and the hold is lost; get shot down and the score is gone. Make it and your score is paid out, – SOL or more, to your Solana address. Then the run is over and you start from zero.
  5. Guest or account
Play as a guest: a callsign and an address, nothing else. An account (a name and a password) keeps your callsign, your address and your record on any device.
  6. The burn
2% of the creator fees is set aside; each time 0.005 SOL has gathered it buys BARON on the market and burns exactly the coins that buy brought in. So far 0 burned, bought with 0; 0 is waiting for the next burn.
